I was told by the body shop i would need a full new door, the top part of my drivers side door has been bent slightly due to the door being partially open as i was rolling the car out of the garage with a friend (his side, he told me it was all clear) and the door hit the corner of the garage door opening. Anyways, just wanted your guys quick opinion before i go ahead and make an insurance claim or start looking for a second hand door. The door opens and closes fine, the damage appears to be very minimal in my opinion but im not overly educated in body work. The only thing that has been affected besides the appearance is the fact that the window has a harder time going up and down at about the halfway mark. Thanks in advance.
